TX Board of Nursing Approval

You should have submitted your name to the Texas Board of Nursing (TBON). They will send you an outcome letter, known as a blue card. You'll need this blue card in order to enroll and will need to bring it to nursing orientation.

The TBON will also send you information on the background check.

Those who receive a "Fast Pass" email from the TBON must complete the process described in that email.

If you do not receive a "Fast Pass" email, don't worry. You will still receive what you need from the TBON.
