Need to earn your certificate of high school equivalency? Our college offers the Pearson General Educational Development (GED) exam in English and Spanish.

Eligible to receive testing accommodations? You will need to confirm what kind of accommodations GED can provide. San Jac will work with GED to ensure you receive any approved accommodations.
Once you pass the GED exam, you can receive your certificate through GED.
Depending on the sections you will take, GED varies in time allowed. You can't take unscheduled breaks during a section. You also can’t pause the exam. You must finish the exam within the allowed time limit.

Our Testing Centers have a responsibility to faculty and students to respond to any infractions that may occur. We administer GED under the policy, rules and guidelines set forth by Pearson. When candidates arrive for the test, the Testing Center staff will review the policy, rules, and guidelines. Information about the test will also be provided to the candidate through their platform GED account.
