Are you worried about the cost of attending a four-year university? We know it can be overwhelming, but don't worry! Just like San Jacinto College, universities have financial resources available to make your education affordable and within reach.

What Are The Steps to Getting Transfer Aid? It's as Easy as 1-2-3!

To start your transfer journey on the right foot, we highly recommend scheduling an appointment with San Jac's financial aid team early on. They can help you navigate the transfer process and provide you with the necessary information about financial aid, admissions, and other requirements for your future school.
  1. Get Prepared

Schedule a financial aid appointment with San Jac to discuss canceling financial aid, completing your FAFSA, completing Exit Counseling (if needed), and requesting your San Jac transcript for your new university.

  2. Get Informed

Schedule an appointment with your new university's financial aid office to learn about priority processing deadlines for your FAFSA/TASFA and make sure all requirements are met. Don't forget to ask about the Texas Grant, which is available to undergraduate students

  3. Get Aid

Follow up with your new university's financial aid office and apply for the TEXAS Grant*. This program helps with college expenses and is available to eligible students.

*Be sure to review the eligibility requirements for the TEXAS Grant.
